Hood is steel. It is very light and flimsy compared to my old OEM hood that came off, which must weigh two or three times as much.
The truck is actually an `01. I changed the whole front clip. Fenders, grill, and headlight brackets & lights themselves all lined up perfectly, all were aftermarket and most came from carparts wholesale. All lined up but the hood.
Ill try to take better pics and post them, but basically when the hood is closed, it seems as if its lined up at the hinges where is closes but as you follow the line where the hood meets the fender towards the front, the closer it gets to the headlights, the wider the gap becomes.
If you look at it from the front, where the hood meets the grill, it lines up fine, and as you go out towards the headlights on each side, the hood seems to bow out and up, creating this gap that Idescribed.
