November 1, 2005I would try swapping the relay out first and if that does not fix it make sure the sensor in the dash is plugged in good, it could be bad also.
November 1, 2005There's a light sensor on the dash, center near the windshield. Do you have a dash mat that might be covering it?
November 1, 2005Long shot here, but you don't have anything covering the sensor do you? It's on the dash, near the windshield.
November 3, 2005I've got the same problem...when I had my oil changed @ the dealer I asked em' bout it and they mentioned a faulty relay...where is this thing and can I fix it? I didn't wanna pay them more just to tear my dash apart and not fix it.
November 3, 2005Don't you guys have a fuse relay center under the hood, drivers side?
November 19, 2005I found this...maybe it works.

Find the DRL Module. It's the grey box with a flip type bottom next to the white connector under the dash. If opened there is a circuit card inside. Leave the card alone. Find the PINK wire to the module. This is the ignition on detect wire. Clip this wire. That's it. No nore DRL. Everything else still works. GM puts a SPST switch in this wire as part of their Police Package (DRL/Radio Cutout Switch) to disable the DRL. I put a switch back in it so the DRL can be turned back on.
