June 13, 2009Tonight i was driving up a back road to look at some hunting land for a camp and then all of the sudden my screen said "check tire pressure right front tire" and that light came on. So i got out of the truck (07 NNBS silverado ) and i can hear it hissing as soon as i open the door. So I turn around and haul *** out of the woods cause I''m about 3 *or* 4 miles in with no cell service and just in case i needed help I wanted to be able to call someone. I think i can have it plugged so i was wondering if i have it plugged and put it back on is that light and message going to go away *or* do i have to reset it some how and if i do does the dealer have to do it *or* can I? I looked in the manual (maybe i missed it cause i do that alot) but really couldnt find anything about it. Thanks for the help, Justin

June 14, 2009It will go away when the proper pressure is reached.
June 14, 2009I agree - it will shut off on its own. You should get a patch instead of a plug!
